Process

Make the care visible.

Painting looks simple from the outside. Here is exactly what happens between your first tap and the final look — so there are no surprises.

Process

Make the care visible.

  1. 01

    Prepare

Floors, fixtures and furniture are covered. Surfaces are cleaned, repaired and primed. The care before painting is part of the work.

  2. 02

    Communicate

The scope is written plainly: what is included, what is not, how access works, and what happens next. No jargon, no exaggerated promises.

  3. 03

    Finish

Clean lines, even coverage and a tidy site at the end of the day. The result is shown in complete spaces and close-up details.

Composed, capable and considerate — never loud or overdecorated. See the full process →

Step by step

What to expect, in order.

  1. 01

    Plan it (1 minute)

Address, property type, what needs doing, timing, furniture, availability — then pick a walkthrough day and window.

  2. 02

    We confirm by text

The owner texts you to confirm the day and window. No call center, no automated quote.

  3. 03

    On-site walkthrough

We measure, inspect surfaces, note repairs, talk colors and sheens, and confirm access and scheduling.

  4. 04

    Written scope

An itemized estimate: included work, exclusions, materials, preparation, coats, timing and payment terms.

  5. 05

    Prep day(s)

Protection first — floors, furniture, fixtures, landscaping. Then repairs, sanding, caulking and primer.

  6. 06

    Paint

Cut lines by hand, walls rolled, exteriors sprayed and back-rolled, trim and doors brushed or sprayed.

  7. 07

    Final look

Masking off, touch-ups done, site cleaned, and a walk around together before we call it finished.

All questions →
How do I get an estimate?

Use the project planner — it takes about a minute and ends with you picking a day and time window for an on-site walkthrough. We confirm by text, look at the surfaces with you, and send a written scope. You can also message @prodigypaints on Instagram.

Is the walkthrough free?

Yes. The walkthrough and the written scope that follows are free and carry no obligation.

What happens at the walkthrough?

We measure, look closely at the surfaces, note repairs, talk through colors and sheens, and confirm access and scheduling. You get a written estimate afterwards that separates what is included from what is not.

How far out are you booking?

It changes with the season. Reserve a walkthrough and we will give you real start dates rather than a guess.

What are your payment terms?

Terms are stated on every estimate before acceptance. We do not ask for full payment up front.

What if I need to reschedule?

Text us. Weather and life happen; we reschedule without drama and keep you posted on the new dates.

What happens after I reserve a walkthrough?

Your request goes straight to the owner, who texts you to confirm the day and window. No call centers, no automated quotes.
