Why Prodigy
A finish worth noticing.
Painting looks simple from the outside. The difference is in everything that happens before the color goes on, and how clearly it is explained.
Plan my project Kevin GonzalesOwner & operator · 12 years in the tradeKevin started painting houses in high school for his uncle, who called him “the prodigy.” The name stuck — and twelve years later he runs every Prodigy project himself, from the walkthrough to the final look.
Prep you can see
Protection, repair and priming happen before color. It is the difference between a coat of paint and a finish that lasts.
A scope in plain words
You get a written estimate that separates what is included from what is not, with materials, preparation and next steps spelled out.
One crew, one standard

All questions →How do I get an estimate?
Use the project planner — it takes about a minute and ends with you picking a day and time window for an on-site walkthrough. We confirm by text, look at the surfaces with you, and send a written scope. You can also message @prodigypaints on Instagram.
What happens at the walkthrough?
We measure, look closely at the surfaces, note repairs, talk through colors and sheens, and confirm access and scheduling. You get a written estimate afterwards that separates what is included from what is not.
Do you handle both residential and commercial work?
Yes. Homes, rentals, HOAs, offices, retail and light commercial spaces. Choose the property type in the planner so we can plan access and scheduling correctly.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Not necessarily. Many clients give us access and check in by text. We do like a quick look together at the end of the job.
Do I need to move furniture?
Large pieces can stay; we move them to the center and cover them. Small items and breakables are best moved by you. The planner asks about this so we can plan the time.
What happens after I reserve a walkthrough?
Your request goes straight to the owner, who texts you to confirm the day and window. No call centers, no automated quotes.
