For homeowners

The highest-leverage upgrade a home can get.

Paint is the first thing a buyer, an appraiser or a guest notices — and one of the few improvements you can finish in days. Here is how it factors into value, and where to spend.

This is for you if

Sound familiar?

  • Selling in the next year

Fresh, neutral interiors and a clean exterior photograph better, show better and reduce inspection notes.

  • Staying and refreshing

A new palette changes how a home feels without a remodel — and protects the surfaces underneath.

  • Protecting an aging exterior

Chalking stucco and faded fascia are not just cosmetic. Repainting before failure is far cheaper than repairing after.

What it looks like

Find the right color in your light

Colors shift with your windows and your lamps. We bring real samples to the walkthrough and preview options on a real photo in the Color Studio, so you decide with confidence.

Care begins with preparation

Floors covered, edges taped, holes filled, surfaces primed. The care before the color is most of the work — and it is what makes a repaint look expensive.

A finish that feels like home

Crisp trim lines, even walls and a palette that suits how you live. Not a showroom — your home, refreshed.

How we handle it

The problems, and what we do about them.

  • 01

Curb appeal sets the price anchor

The exterior is the first photo online and the first impression at the curb. A crisp body-and-trim scheme reads as “maintained” before anyone walks in.

  • 02

    Interiors decide the walkthrough

Scuffed walls and patchy touch-ups read as deferred maintenance. Clean lines and a consistent neutral let buyers picture their own furniture.

  • 03

    Deferred exterior paint becomes repair

Once stucco chalks and caulk fails, water gets in. Repainting on schedule protects the substrate; waiting adds stucco and drywall repair to the bill.

  • 04

    The wrong color costs twice

Preview on a real photo before you buy a gallon. Our Color Studio and walkthrough samples take the guesswork out.

FAQ

All questions →
Does painting really increase home value?

Paint is consistently one of the highest-return cosmetic improvements because it is low cost relative to the impression it makes on photos, showings and appraisals. We do not quote a percentage — it depends on the home and market — but we will tell you honestly which surfaces are worth doing before a sale.

Which colors help a home sell?

Warm whites and soft greiges on walls, bright white trim, and an exterior scheme that fits the neighborhood. Preview options in the Color Studio and we will bring samples to the walkthrough.

Exterior or interior first?

If the exterior is chalking or faded, do it first — it protects the house and sets the first impression. If the exterior is sound, interiors give the biggest day-to-day change.

How often should an Arizona exterior be repainted?

Sun and heat shorten paint life here. Watch for chalking when you rub the stucco, faded fascia and cracked caulk — those are the signals. See our exterior repaint planning guide.
